I'm Seckin, and my journey in product management and tech spans over 18 years – from writing code in telecom systems to leading product strategy for digital payments and everything in between.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working across a diverse technical landscape: building B2B and B2C products, designing and scaling APIs, implementing DevOps practices, and diving deep into cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Gen AI, Vector Databases, LLMs, and Distributed Systems. This broad exposure has given me a unique perspective on how different technologies can come together to solve real-world challenges.

Back in the early days, I started as a R&D software engineer, diving deep into the world of telco-grade systems. Writing code taught me something invaluable: the best solutions come from truly understanding the problems you're solving. This insight would later become my north star in product management.

My transition into product management wasn't just a career move; it was a natural evolution. After spending years building systems that served millions of users, I found myself increasingly drawn to the 'why' behind the 'what' we were building (not only because I was chained to a desk developing, testing and deploying software solutions). This curiosity led me to take on my first product role, where I had the unique opportunity to manage a platform that analysed real-time behaviour of mobile subscribers across multiple countries. Talk about diving into the deep end!

The journey took me across continents – from Turkey to Australia – where each role added new dimensions to my product leadership style. These experiences have shaped my understanding of building products that bridge complex technical challenges with real business needs.

What really gets me excited? It's the intersection of technical innovation and customer needs. Having been both the engineer writing the code and the product leader shaping the vision, I bring a unique perspective to product development. I love breaking down complex challenges into simple, elegant solutions that make a real difference for users.

Today, as a product guy in the industry, I'm passionate about building products that help consumers and businesses address their challenges. What really makes me proud is seeing how our products make life easier.
